In a nutshell
AFTRBRN does not sell personal or health data or use it for advertising. Payments are handled by Apple, Google Play, or Stripe.
Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- Account information: your name, email address, user ID, profile photo, sign-in provider, and related account details.
- Training information: workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, cardio metrics, notes, personal records, templates, plans, custom exercises, tags, preferences, and training analytics.
- Content and messages: images, attachments, screenshots, sketches, bug reports, feature requests, comments, replies, messages, and other content you submit.
- On-device information: workout data, settings, sync queues, cached images, widget data, and export files stored on your device. Some of this information stays on your device unless you sync, submit, export, or share it.
- Technical and usage information: app and build versions, platform, operating system, device model, display information, locale, time zone, screen or page views, feature interactions, performance traces, crashes, errors, and diagnostic logs.
- Purchase and subscription information: product IDs, purchase tokens, transaction or order IDs, subscription status, renewal or expiry dates, and payment-provider identifiers.
- Connections and shared content: connection codes, connected users, display names, profile photos, and templates, plans, or custom exercises you choose to share.
Health and fitness data
With your permission, AFTRBRN reads step and sleep data from Apple Health or Health Connect to provide activity and recovery insights.
As of the date above, AFTRBRN does not read body-weight data or imported workout records, and it does not write workout data to Apple Health or Health Connect.
You can grant, deny, or revoke these permissions through your device settings.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve AFTRBRN.
- Manage accounts, authenticate users, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
- Record workouts, show training history, calculate progress, provide analytics, and support templates and plans.
- Sync data and provide offline access, sharing, timers, widgets, live activities, reminders, and notifications.
- Manage subscriptions, confirm entitlements, and provide billing support.
- Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, understand feature usage, and fix bugs.
- Respond to support, reports, feedback, and messages, including reviewing submitted or shared content with automated moderation tools.
- Send service messages and meet legal, accounting, regulatory, and security obligations.
AI assistants and MCP connectors
You can connect AFTRBRN to supported AI assistants and Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients, including services such as ChatGPT and Claude.
When you approve a connector, it may read, search, summarise, create, or update AFTRBRN data within the permissions you grant. Depending on your request, this may include:
- workout history, names, dates, durations, exercises, sets, reps, weights, personal records, and cardio metrics;
- workout, plan, or template notes when you explicitly ask the assistant to use them;
- exercise definitions, custom exercises, equipment, body parts, muscle groups, tracking settings, and exercise history;
- templates, drafts, plans, presets, cycle days, rest days, and identifiers needed to find or update them; and
- account-linking information such as your AFTRBRN user ID, connection status, approved permissions, and token status.
AFTRBRN does not intentionally make your password, complete payment-card details, private media files, or permanently deleted content available through connectors.
The AI assistant or MCP service you use processes prompts and AFTRBRN data under its own terms and privacy policy. This may include OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude, or another provider you choose.
You can disconnect a connector through the relevant assistant or client. This prevents future access but does not delete information already received or processed by that third party.
We may keep limited connection logs, authorisation records, rate-limit information, and security metadata to operate connectors, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and protect accounts. Where practical, these records use hashed identifiers and exclude complete workout details and notes.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed to provide AFTRBRN, maintain your account, support subscriptions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, accounting, reporting, and security obligations.
If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify your personal information unless limited records must be kept for legal, tax, payment, dispute, security, or compliance reasons.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can export your data, delete your account, update certain profile information, revoke health permissions, manage notifications, disconnect AI connectors, and manage subscriptions through Apple, Google Play, or Stripe.
Privacy requests can be started through the Support page. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, make a complaint, or exercise other rights under applicable law.
Children
AFTRBRN is not intended for children under 13, or any higher minimum age required in their location. If you believe a child has provided personal information, report it through the Support page, and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as AFTRBRN, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required.
